Rare Form Limousine’s Super Stretch Excursion a Favorite at Preschool Truck Day

    May 20th, 2010

Last Thursday, the Stroum Jewish Community Center’s Early Childhood Learning Services held their annual truck day, making the front page of the Mercer Island Reporter.

As a graduate of JCC preschool, I was happy to join the ranks of police, fire, construction, and recreation with our Super Stretch Excursion limousine. With the glassware removed, the children were able to climb all over the inside of our flagship vehicle and explore the details of the huge hauler.

    NCIS: Los Angeles Knows Limos

    May 6th, 2010

Are you one of the 15 million people who watched the NCIS: Los Angeles episode, “Fame,” last week? When Callen goes undercover as a wealthy player, he heads to the hottest club in Los Angeles in…a Rare Form Limousine?

It sure looked that way, as the Krystal Lincoln Town Car featured in this season’s hottest new series is the same model and color as our Stretch Town Car. We know we have good taste, but we love to see it reinforced on television, just like on last year’s American Idol.

KITH Presents “Fighting Homelessness – We Mean Business”

    April 22nd, 2010

Rare Form Limousine is proud to have provided transportation for some special guests to the Kirkland Interfaith Transitions in Housing (KITH) event “Fighting Homelessness – We Mean Business.”

The Bellevue High School Drama class sent a handful of students to the event to play homeless citizens, and Rare Form Limousine whisked them off from class to the Fairfield Inn Seattle Bellevue so they could participate.

Raising over $14,000, the event was a huge success, and we are glad we could be a part of the fundraiser. Keep an eye out for future KITH events if you would like to become actively involved in helping local families cope with extreme economic hardship.

Why Canlis Is More than a Restaurant to Me

    April 15th, 2010

Pick up a Zagat Seattle Restaurant guide and you’ll find Canlis near the top of all the specialty ratings sections: Food, Decor, Service, and Most Popular.

I have a more personal connection to Canlis: Chris Canlis was my youth soccer coach, and his son, Matt Canlis, was both my soccer teammate and school mate at Medina Elementary, Chinook Middle School, and Bellevue High School.

So grab a Seattle limo, pick a Seattle night, and make a reservation to have a Seattle premier dining experience at Canlis.

Say “Hi!” to Mark Canlis for me; I saw him at an Association of Bridal Consultants’ Regional Convention recently, and he went to school with my sister. Or say “Hi!” to Brian Canlis; he went to school with my brother. It’s a small world here in Seattle.

Although the exterior remains period-perfect, this historic ferryboat’s interior has been fully updated inside, providing the picture perfect location for your next event.

School Dance Safety: Who’s Driving Your Seattle Prom Limo?

    March 18th, 2010

The City of Mercer Island called me last week and together we put together an outline of what parents should look for in a limousine company in order to be confident that drinking in the limousine will not be allowed.

Whenever minors are going to be in one of our limousines without a guardian, a parent must fill out and sign our Parental Consent Form. As one precaution, the center divider will be locked in the down position so that the chauffeur has direct contact with the passengers at all times.

Mercer Island will be putting together a pamphlet outlining our suggestions shortly. To get an idea of the pamphlet content, read our Seattle Prom Limo blog post about how to protect yourself and your children from a bad experience.
